I pray that my children never forget that they were, are, and always will be deeply loved by me.

For My Brother

For my brother, Do you know how much you mean to me? Perhaps I have not said it enough because the time was not right or I thought you already knew, but let me say it now. I love you. Blood made you my brother, but love made you my friend.

Hold The Hands

Hold the hands tightly of those you love today, laugh with them, cry with them, share with them, speak of your love for them freely, as the day will come when they are but a memory and those things that you did and did not do will either comfort or forever haunt you.

 only then will you know just how grand being a grandparent truly is.

Daughter, it seemed like but a moment to me, I closed my eyes and there stood a woman where my little girl used to be. You held my hand as a child, and it is always there for you, should you ever have the need, as you hold my heart now and for all eternity.

I Miss You

For those I have lost. I miss you.
My mind knows that you are in a better place where there is no pain. You are at peace. I understand that, I just wish I could explain it to my heart. There is an empty space in it that nothing will ever fill. I grieve, but I know my tears are for me. We will be together again. Until then, my love will always be with you.

Knowledge Is Knowing

Knowledge is knowing that you cannot solve all of life’s problems.

Wisdom is knowing that God can. Faith is putting them in God’s hands 

and accepting that his will shall be done.

I Can Smile

I can smile because I know where I have been, I know where I am, 

and when this life is over thanks to God I know where I will be.

I Am Blessed

I am blessed. I have family and friends that love me and I know it.

There may be clutter in my home, but I can see it.

There may be noise that disturbs my sleep, but I can hear it.

Life may be hard at times, but I am alive to face it, and while my life may not be perfect, I do love it.

Spend With My Family And Friends

Thank you God for giving me another day to spend with my family and friends.

 In honor of this gift from you, there is no way that I will let this day 

end with a whimper from me when I can end it with an AMEN.

you may need to ask yourself if you are in fact a child of God, or just another weed.
